In collaboration with Geert Hansma, Sem Schelwald and Annique van Waarde
The marble machine is composed of a series of interconnected components that can be added together to create a kinetic chain reaction. The machine uses various mechanisms like levers, gravity, and inclined planes to move the marbles through it. The design process of the marble machine began by brainstorming and sketching various ideas and concepts. Once a general layout and concept was decided upon, the machine's components were modeled SolidWorks®. Also, 3D printing technology was used to fabricate most of the machine's parts, allowing efficient and cost-effective prototyping.
